There are several options for accessing Monte Mar from Playas del Coco. Some sections of the access roads are unpaved and

• We are working with the Municipality to secure permits for paving the primary access road.

• We are also beginning the process to create a short road through an established easement for accessing the Coco Bay Estates Club House and amenities.

Primary Entrance - The preferred route starts at the Maxi Pali on the main road prior to entering Coco. It travels a short distance through a residential area before continuing through a mostly forested area that ends at the entrance road to the property.

Coco Bay Estates Easement - Monte Mar has an easement that was established with a partnership where funding was provided to complete the Club House and amenities in return for the residents of Monte Mar to be able to access and use those facilities at the same cost as the Coco Bay Estate homeowners.

Auto Mercado Access - The most direct access

Las Canales Road - The most efficient access for central Coco is along the 1.4km unpaved Canales road, which travels through a residential area with a considerable amount of foot, bike, and car traffic.
